Ntokozo Hlatshwayo

Founder and Managing Director

Ntokozo is the Managing Director of Aefrica Group RSA and has the responsibility for the trading book of the firm. Ntokozo’s educational and technical skills include Maritime Studies from Durban University of Technology, Pilotage Studies from STC – Rotterdam Netherlands and Asset Maintenance & Management Programme from ICL.

Ntokozo has been in the Maritime, Oil & Gas Industry for 25 years, has held various positions at TRANSNET SOC including, Tug master, Pilot, Operations Manager, Deputy Harbour Master and Act. Harbour Master. Also held positions within the private sector, Managing Partner at JLT Marine & Salvage and Executive Committee Member at Cape Royal Yacht Club.

Petroleum and Energy

Aefrica (Pty) Ltd specialises in the wholesale of petroleum products including trade, sales, and import/export of refined petroleum products throughout the SADC region.

Aefrica team boasts decades of experience trading petroleum and other byproducts. We supply petrol, diesel, residual fuels, and other lubricants in the market both locally and internationally through our established energy trading partners across the globe.

Mining (Industrial Commodities)

Aefrica (Pty) Ltd trades in a variety of commodities supplying both the South African and world markets with a particular focus on supplying goods and commodities to virtually all of Africa/Europe and Middle East. These commodities range from Raw Materials through to Mining and Industrial Chemicals, Animal Feeds, Agricultural products, Roads and Construction supplies (Bitumen), and Industrial Roof Sheeting.

Our sourcing, logistics, financing, and marketing services allow us to provide critical sourcing solutions for the ferroalloy, metal, mineral, mining, and energy industries. We are able to move metals and minerals to the global market faster, more efficiently and with less risk.

Through our strategic partnerships with reputable mining companies with local and international ties, we provide our customers with the ability to source, secure and deliver materials from pit-to-port.

MARITIME

Aefrica specialises in project development and management as well as engineering solutions to the industry, with specific interest in the Maritime, Oil and Gas.

Where clients are in need of ship recycling, bunkering, supply of technical equipment/spares and maintenance services -Aefrica manages the cutting & recycling of steel, fuel supply for (ships, mines, agriculture) through a well-established network of finances and business associates.

As part of our service offering Aefrica also provides operations & maintenance for ship repair industries.
